Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems within the catering industry. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and equipment repair.
Duties
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance. Respond to breakdown calls, diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, then execute repairs efficiently to minimise downtime. Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems ensuring safety standards are maintained. Assist with system upgrades and modifications in line with project specifications. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration and equipment repair. Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Strong background in maintenance activities within catering refrigeration. Relevant qualifications or certifications in refrigeration engineering covering F-Gas and HCs are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.
