Refuse Driver (HGV) Role Profile



A vacancy has become available for a driver within our Street Scene and Waste department. It is essential that you have a full driving license including HGV/LGV driving licence and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Duties will include driving various vehicles from a 7.5t caged tail lift vehicle for collecting large bulky waste items from households and businesses to our 26t trade compaction trucks for servicing our commercial waste customers.


You will be required to work 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8 hours and 5 hours on a Friday. You will also be required to be flexible and work overtime on occasion depending on the needs of the service.


This role provides you with access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
