We are thrilled to announce a fantastic job opening for a Regional Support Team Member at our bustling Trade Counters in the North East. If you enjoy staying active and thrive on assisting customers, this role is tailor-made for you!

As a Regional Support, you'll be the approachable face our customers see at GAP. Your mission will be to provide cover and additional support at our trade counters in Cramlington, Newcastle and Gateshead and ensure a smooth operation at the depot. Your engaging daily tasks will involve managing stock, assisting customers at the trade counter, preparing orders for delivery, and driving locally to deliver our high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Be comfortable with working in different locations every day; sometimes at short notice.

Supporting depots throughout the busy holiday periods in day-to-day depot tasks.

Like the challenge of problem solving and working with teams to improve their performance.

Be very confident in a trade counter and to assume the manager's role if required to lead the team to ensure the depot trades efficiently.

Have an eye for detail and be capable of completing audit documents as part of monthly reviews.

Providing operational support for the depots and ROM where required.

Adhere to Organisational Health and Safety policies

Lead by example and follow process and procedure.

Requirements:

A valid UK driving license with a clean driving history. Previous experience in construction retail, trade counter, warehouse assistance, or a similar role is desirable Minimum age of 21 (for insurance purposes). Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanour. Capability to lift and carry heavy items safely. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
