: Academy closest to successful applicant's home address

Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 30 academies; 17 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in fourteen Local Authority regions.
The successful candidate will:
Ensure that all areas of catering adhere to statutory requirements and are compliant to food safety legislation, Natasha's Law, health & safety requirements, HACCP & CoSHH.
Be skilled in cooking activities across the full range of menu provision from preparation of menus, portion control, special dietary meals and corporate events and hospitality where required.
Work to increase up take of meals across all academies.
Provide operational support to both primary and secondary academies in the absence of key colleagues and/or where training requirements are identified.
Monitor and review key performance indicators, create relevant reports and action plans.
Ensure all academies provide an outstanding catering experience to all students, staff and visitors.
Be able to travel between all Trust academies
Experience/Qualifications/Personal Skills Required:
Level 3 Food Safety.
NVQ level 3 in Professional Cookery/Food Production and Cooking.
Knowledge of school catering is preferred but not essential, however the ideal candidate must at least have experience of dealing with multi-site catering services and managing a team.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams and engage others
