WithYou are recruiting for an Regional Data Lead, to join us as a key member of our Finance and Resources directorate. We're excited to hear from candidates who can enable the effective use of data at WithYou, supporting services to meet regulatory and contractual reporting requirements, while helping to drive a shift towards using data as a tool for insight, learning and continuous improvement.



This is a new role for WithYou, which will work in close partnership with regional operational leaders and support our local data officers to ensure services within their specified regions collect, store and report data accurately and in a consistent way to our other services. You will be working on a permanent, full time basis from home.



WithYou is a drug, alcohol and mental health charity employing over 1,600 staff. With over 80 services across England and Scotland, we provide support and advice without judgement to more than 100,000 people a year.



At WithYou, we work with people on their own goals, whether that's staying safe and healthy, making small changes or stopping an unwanted habit altogether. We give people support in a way that's right for them either face to face in their local service, community or online. We use our expertise to improve the help available and raise awareness around drugs, alcohol and mental health so that more people can get support.





The main duties of this role will include:



Assist the Local Data Officers that you support, including - train theming (at induction and on an ongoing basis) so that they are compliant with internal data collection processes and the case management system in question; creating diagnostic reports for them to run in order to assess the data quality within their service; championing their work with management in the service; gathering information from the service to assist them with the production of local monitoring reports

Working with other parts of the Finance and Resources team and Regional Development Leads to propose or implement improvements to our data processes, with an emphasis on greater efficiency or better insights

Understanding regional challenges and priorities, tailoring data products and support accordingly

Promoting a data-informed culture across services by building capability, confidence and curiosity in using data for decision-making

Essential Skills



You will bring a proven track record of data leadership, including leading data activity across multiple services or locations, ensuring consistent data quality, governance and compliance with organisational standards. In your application, we'd be excited to see evidence of:



Proven experience in supporting managers and teams to collate, validate and interpret data, enabling them to produce accurate performance reports and meet contractual, regulatory, and commissioner requirements

Experience guiding others to work within a performance framework and use regional performance data to drive improvement

Demonstrable experience delivering data-related training and support to individuals and teams, promoting a data-informed culture

A high degree of analytical ability, with the necessary skills to diagnose data quality issues, identify trends and generate actionable insights

Advanced IT proficiency, including spreadsheets, case management systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualisations

Strong relationship-building, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations
