About the Role:
United Worldwide Logistics is seeking a dynamic and motivated
Regional Development Manager ( Business Development )
with a strong background in Freight Forwarding or Shipping. In this role, you will report directly to the Commercial General Manger and take responsibility for driving new business opportunities that align with the company's overall strategy. Your primary focus will be on promoting all of United Worldwide Logistics' services, including value-added offerings, while meeting the sales targets set for you.

Key Responsibilities:
As a
Business Development Manager
, your duties will include:
Generating New Business
: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve agreed-upon targets and maximize profitability.
Reporting and Tracking
: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, ensuring all sales activities are logged within Salesforce.
Internal Collaboration
: Work closely with other business units to communicate customer needs, and share information to identify further opportunities.
Customer Communication
: Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, ensuring all customer inquiries are handled promptly.
Market Research
: Stay informed about both internal and external market trends to identify opportunities and help develop new products and services.
Consistent Presentations
: Ensure all customer-facing presentations align with United Worldwide Logistics' brand and values.
Sales Meetings
: Attend sales conferences and meetings as required.
Additional Duties
: Complete other tasks as directed by management to ensure smooth department operations.

Requirements:
3 years minimum of Business Development experience.
5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Shipping.
