About the Role
This is an exciting moment to join RIBA London. With a renewed focus on member value, a refreshed regional strategy, an energised leadership team in place and 5 branch chairs with newly formed committees, we are shaping a programme of activities for our 15,000+ London-based members. Our mission is to re-establish connections across the profession and the wider built environment to ensure the RIBA London region delivers a programme that reflects what members want, need, and expect.
As Regional Engagement Partner, you'll be central to that mission. You'll join a regional team, delivering a direct engagement strategy with members and working closely with our new branch chairs and Regional Director to promote and deliver a wide-reaching programme which will help members connect with RIBA - and each other, across the capital.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a confident communicator, comfortable navigating the complexities of the architecture and built environment sectors and will understand the realities faced by both small and large practices in London.
You will need to be creative, highly organised, proactive and detail-focused, with the ability to manage your own portfolio of engagement activity while contributing to broader team priorities.
You may have experience working in member-led, stakeholder-heavy, engagement-focused roles and/or experience in coordinating high volume, small-scale events.
Experience tracking outreach and reporting on outcomes is essential as well as a basic level of familiarity with using CRM systems. Above all, we're looking for someone who can build trust
quickly, work autonomously, and deliver a consistently high standard of professional engagement.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be responsible for building and managing relationships with members and the built environment community across London. You'll lead on direct engagement, through practice visits, meetings, outreach campaigns and events ensuring our members feel supported, heard, and connected to the work of the RIBA.
You'll support our regional branch network, helping committee members and chairs to deliver locally rooted, strategically aligned events and activities. You'll also contribute to regional programmes targeting students, schools of architecture and early-career professionals, helping to bridge the gap between education and practice.
Your insight will play a key role in shaping future regional priorities and ensuring that the RIBA London programme continues to reflect the evolving needs of our members.
