Working arrangements:

Full time (35 hours per week). Standard working hours between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working, with a minimum of 6 days per month in the office

The RCP is seeking a highly organised and proactive events coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative regional team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality conferences and digital events that support physicians' professional development across the UK.


Working closely with the regional event manager and wider regional team, you'll take ownership of planning and delivering face-to-face conferences across the UK region, ensuring seamless logistics and an outstanding delegate experience. You'll also support digital events, including webinars and virtual conferences, helping us to reach physicians at every stage of their careers.

What are we looking for?



Minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering face-to-face conferences, from conception to delivery Demonstrable record of running virtual meetings and digital events with internal and external attendees Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines Excellent interpersonal communications skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in a complex environment. Experience of budget management for small projects Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Outlook; and database systems e.g. CRM Experience of using online event tools (e.g. Survey Monkey, Slido, Microsoft Forms) Willingness to travel across the UK and work flexibly.

Desirable:



Experience of the delivery of large digital or hybrid conferences Driver and/or access to car transport to facilitate travel across the regions Experience of working in a professional/membership and/or health/NHS organisation. University degree level qualification
