Job Description

As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational effectiveness and safety of multiple properties within your assigned region. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and overseeing both preventative and corrective facility repairs. You will develop and manage budgets for facility operations, negotiate contracts and service agreements, and supervise a team of facility staff and external contractors. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing best practices for facility management, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and providing regular reports on facility performance, maintenance schedules, and capital improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably across multiple locations. Proven expertise in managing building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security, is essential. Strong leadership skills and experience in team management are required, as you will be responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating staff. A bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite are necessary. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regularly within the region are also required.
