Regional Facilities Manager (North Lakes & Scotland Region)




37.5 Hours a Week (Monday to Friday)



35,000 per annum pro rata



The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world's oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring.



We are recruiting for a Regional Facilities Manager to join our team covering Lake District and Scotland Region.


This role requires travel across the site network, including overnight stays.


Daily duties and responsibilities will include:




Interpret technical drawings to extract relevant information.

Complete initial site inspections to identify defects in order to prepare accurate schedules and reports to enable accurate contractor pricing and cost control.

To be responsible for the procurement of suitable contractors and all contract administration.

Under the direction of the Facilities and Utilities Manager to ensure contractors are appointed, orders are raised, and accurate budget reporting is achieved.

Hold pre-start meetings for all projects to ensure all contractors are Health & Safety compliant.

To monitor and improve contractor network across UK and site network.

Work closely with property team to deliver an effective support service to UK Sites.

Ensure the repair request process is delivered upon, this includes the day-to-day task management and asset recording within the Facilities Management System.

Ensure all Health and Safety checks are completed at site level, ensuring issues are resolved and recorded as required.

Support the Property & Development administration team as required.

Work closely with other departments within the organisation to ensure Health and Safety, operational and commercial optimisation.

To complete regular site inspections to ensure full compliance and a high level of general maintenance and repair across all club sites.



We are looking for the following in applications:




HNC or ONC in Building Studies or similar industry related qualification.

Previous experience of surveying and measuring skills in a commercial environment.

Experience of working with contractors and suppliers.

Good organisation, administration and communication skills

Proficent IT skills

Flexibility as overnight stays will be required

Fexible and innotaive approach

Able to communicate clearly and courteously with both internal teams and the public, ensuring a positive and professional experience.



This role requires attendance to Greenfields House as required by the Head of Property.
