Job Description

As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and strategic planning of multiple facilities within your assigned region. You will lead a team of facility staff and contractors to ensure each building operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Your role will involve managing budgets, coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance programs, and ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to support our organizational goals. You will regularly inspect facilities, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices for energy management, security, and sustainability.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing facilities management plans, negotiating contracts with vendors, and managing relationships with external service providers. You will be accountable for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, as well as responding to emergencies and coordinating repairs as needed. The role requires strong leadership to motivate teams, excellent communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders, and exceptional organizational abilities to balance multiple projects and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience managing large or multi-site facilities. Familiarity with building management systems, budget oversight, and project management is essential. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the region are required.
