We are seeking a proactive and experienced Regional Facilities Supervisor to oversee facilities operations across multiple sites within the rail transport sector.

As the Regional Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of facilities services across a regional estate. You will ensure service quality, safety compliance, and client satisfaction while managing planned and reactive maintenance activities. This role requires a hands-on approach to leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of contract service delivery, including planned/reactive maintenance and third-party works.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, handling escalations and ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
- Act as a safety leader, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
- Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to SLAs and performance standards.
- Participate in an on-call rota and support regional escalation processes.
- Manage recruitment, absence, disciplinary processes, and staff rotas.
- Oversee stock control, cleaning standards, and site documentation.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation using internal systems.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within facilities maintenance.
- Background in managing multi-disciplinary services in complex environments.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance and procedures.
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software (e.g., Maximo or similar).
- Willingness to undergo Drugs & Alcohol testing as part of compliance requirements.
