About the role




The Regional Finance Manager works with client teams and regional leadership to provide financial oversight and support throughout the lifecycle of client engagements, from opportunity development through to final reporting. The role ensures compliance with Duke CE policies and provides financial insight to support decision-making. The Regional Finance Manager collaborates with Regional Managing Directors, Finance colleagues and client stakeholders to ensure accurate financial planning, reporting and analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Financial Reporting and Analysis



Able to analyse data in both Excel and Power BI (or equivalent reporting tool) Build and analyse reports to monitor pipeline, profitability and budget performance Translate financial data into actionable insights using KPIs, dashboards and analytics Provide financial recommendations to senior management

Project and Opportunity Support



Maintain accurate, real-time financial data for projects and opportunities Support project setup, budgeting, forecasting, billing schedules and revenue recognition Identify variances and ensure proper recording of project expenditures

Client and Stakeholder Engagement



Lead financial discussions with client teams to ensure timely data collection Support pricing strategies and participate in Deal Review Boards Review contracts for financial alignment and advise on standard terms

Accounting and Compliance



Perform general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations Prepare audit schedules and support statutory audits Handle direct and indirect tax filings

Invoicing and Receivables



Manage, report on and assist with the production of client invoices Monitor and follow up on aged receivables Prepare and distribute weekly reports on project accounting, including financial performance and key metrics

Other Responsibilities



Promote financial acumen across the region Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



Financial Management



Strong understanding of accounting, project finance, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and reporting Ability to analyse complex financial data and identify trends

Business Acumen



Commercial mindset with risk awareness Understands Duke CE's business model and communicates effectively

Project Management



Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and time management

Client Relationship Management



Effective communicator across functions and geographies High client service orientation

Technical Skills



Must have experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics D365, SAP, etc) Preferably experienced in developing reports using Power BI or a similar tool Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to prepare detailed standard and custom reports




Education and Experience



Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, auditing, or financial analysis Preference for candidates with experience in professional services or multinational environments Proven ability to analyse financial reports and present insights to stakeholders
