HGV Driver - Class 2 - Queens Park NW10 3NB

Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm - NO OVERNIGHTS!

Alternating Saturdays, 8am to 12noon

Please note that the successful candidate for this vacancy will hold 12+ months relevant HGV multi-drop experience, and will operate from our Queens Park branch - providing relief and logistical cover as required across Kensal Green, Paddington, St Pancras, Staples Corner, and Bethnal Green.

As our Regional HGV Driver, you'll play a key role in equipping the local building industry with materials from our central London branches, making sure your driving, delivery, customers, and load are kept safe and sound. You'll load up your vehicle with the HIAB (training provided), double-check it's all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you'll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.


Please note that whilst your home branch will be Travis Perkins Queens Park, you will also operate as a Regional Relief Driver across Kensal Green, Paddington, St Pancras, Staples Corner, and Bethnal Green. The successful applicant will be able to travel autonomously to start and end shifts at these additional branches on an ad-hoc basis.

Who you are

Requirements

: You'll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and 12+ months of driving experience.

HIAB experience

: Don't have HIAB experience? No problem! We'll fund your HIAB training.

Customer-focused

: You'll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.

Safety-focused

: You'll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
