Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Hire Desk Controller to take on the role of Annual Leave cover and support of Hire Desks within our depots. Based at our Powered Access Division in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Other depots are located in Tipton Birmingham, Newcastle and Huntingdon.

Applicants must have the availability to travel and have overnight hotel stays where required.

Responsibilities

Contribute to daily hire desk operations ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage equipment availability. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of rentals, returns, and equipment status..

Qualifications

Proven experience in rental or logistics operations within the Powered Access or tools industry. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proficiency in rental management software and MS Office suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction equipment. A proactive approach to problem-solving.
