Job Description


HRBP to cover the Northern region of the UK. This is a home based role with travel to sites across the northern region from South Yorkshire up to Scotland. In this pivotal role, you will play an integral part in shaping this fast growing organisation\'s future by providing strategic leadership and guidance in all aspects of human resources to key stakeholders across the region.

Leadership and Development: Mentor, challenge, and nurture our people leaders, offering guidance on best practices and fostering their growth. Support them in implementing value-added initiatives.

Project Leadership: Take the helm in steering crucial people and organisation projects to successful outcomes.

Operational HR Support: Ensure efficient and consistent HR services are delivered to our internal customers, optimising their experience.

Strategic Planning: Develop people-centric strategies within your designated business areas, aligning them with our local and company-wide goals. Regularly evaluate and track progress towards our objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Leverage your influence to drive the People plan for your region, collaborating closely with key stakeholders.

Employee Engagement: Partner with leadership to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive people-focused culture. Actively participate in annual engagement processes and share notable examples of engagement throughout the year.

Process Excellence: Uphold high standards across all People and Organisation processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, offering coaching and guidance to enhance managerial capabilities.

Employee Relations: Collaborate with the HR Advisor in your area, serving as a resource for all employee relations matters, including complex cases.

Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with fellow HR Business Partners to drive ongoing enhancement of HR services and processes within the organisation.

Legislative Compliance: Stay current with legislative changes and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.

Training: Provide key training on various People matters and contribute to budget planning.

Project Support: Assist in the successful delivery of People and Organisation projects as required.

Flexibility: Be open to extensive travel throughout the Northern region, including North East, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Scotland.

Professional Certification: Hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or an equivalent certification.

HR Expertise: Demonstrate a strong background in generalist HR, including multi-site HR experience.

Policy Knowledge: Have extensive knowledge of HR policies, initiatives, and practices, with a deep understanding of their application in a commercial setting.

Change Management: Proven experience in managing change and embedding new programs.

Legal Awareness: Stay up to date with Employment Law and GDPR regulations.

Influential Skills: Exhibit the ability to influence at all management levels and challenge when necessary.

Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Coaching and Facilitation: Excel in coaching and facilitating to drive organisational growth.

Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies.

Attention to Detail: Show a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Salary \xc2\xa350,000 - \xc2\xa355,000
  • Mileage allowance at 45p a mile
