Job Title: Regional HR Business Partner
Location: Southeast Region to include Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Middlesex, Berkshire, West London, plus Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted Airports (field based role)
Salary: \xc2\xa355,000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa360,000 per annum plus company car and benefits
Role: Permanent - Full time (field-based role 4 out of 5 days)

My client is looking for a talented Regional HR People Partner. This is a key, field based, role within the broader UK People Team.

This is a crucial role that will partner with the Regional Managers and will take shared ownership as well as responsibility for the delivery, transformation and progress of all people goals and targets. The People Partner works strategically with the Regional Managers and adopts commercially focused HR solutions that add measured value to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • As HR Business Partner to the Regional Managers, you will support the implementation of the people strategy.
  • Prepare and own a robust long-term people plan to support the delivery of the regional operational objectives.
  • In conjunction with Area Managers, complete HR Health Checks (HRHC) visits in 200% turnover stores each quarter and conduct follow up visits and present vigorous plans and initiatives.
  • Use data to develop a deep understanding of core People metrics for your Region and provide insight, challenge and advice where required.
  • In collaboration with the Regional Managers and Recruitment Team ensure effective succession plans and talent pipelines are in place in line with turnover trends, business growth and hot-spot areas.
  • Through team development sessions and 121 coaching develop leadership behaviours within the Region that are aligned with the culture and promote a positive employee experience
  • Support with specific projects and initiatives
  • Be a role model \xe2\x80\x93 help embed the cultural values through every element of the employee experience
  • Be the voice of the colleague within the operation to ensure people are dealt with fairly and equitably.
  • When ER issues are delegated to you, provide a high standard of advice and guidance to ensure Regional Managers and their teams adhere to relevant policy and legislative requirements.
Ideal Candidate
  • Relevant experience in Human Resources Management ideally in a multi-site retail/ hospitality business
  • Strong knowledge and application of employment law.
  • Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or working towards.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with a solid understanding of P&L.
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator and mediator who is articulate on a one-to-one basis as well as within large groups.
  • Committed to learning through continuous professional development.
  • Is collaborative and applies a supportive coaching style.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities, self-motivated and able to work autonomously and remotely.
