The Opportunity
Join us as a
Regional Planing Coordinator
, covering the South and Oxford regions based out of our Bardon Hill Offices, working Monday to Friday with some hybrid working. In this pivotal role, you'll optimise the management of reclaimed asphalt (RAP), drive operational efficiency, and ensure environmental compliance. Reporting to the National Recycling Manager, you'll collaborate with various teams to maximise value, streamline logistics, and meet performance targets.
Plan and deploy haulage resources to meet internal demands for reclaimed asphalt removal.
Optimise road logistics for contracting and asphalt, focusing on cost-effective, high-value RAP sourcing.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers, and hauliers to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and maintain compliance with operational procedures, technical specifications, and environmental legislation.
Provide accurate reporting and forecasting on RAP performance, including stock levels, cost analysis, and procurement strategies.
Who You Are
You're a driven and organised professional with a strong background in logistics, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management. Your ability to manage complex operations while fostering collaboration sets you apart. Here's what makes you a great fit:
Knowledge of the asphalt surfacing industry, planing process, and aggregate logistics.
Proven negotiation skills and commercial acumen to maximise value and minimise costs.
Strong IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets, databases, and new software systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on optimisation and compliance.
