Regional Registered Nurse (Bank, North East Region)


Covering care homes from

Stocksfield to Sunderland - 24.10 per hour (includes 12.07% holiday pay).

We're looking for compassionate, flexible Registered Nurses with a minimum of 6 months UK nursing experience to join our regional bank nursing team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality resident care within a supportive and professional environment. This position offers an opportunity to utilise your nursing expertise to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives, while working alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Duties



Provide comprehensive resident care, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities of living. Assess resident conditions and develop personalised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of resident progress and treatments. Educate residents and their families on health management and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate effective treatment strategies. Respond promptly to emergencies, providing immediate care as required. Up to date clinical skills including but not limited to catheterisation, venepuncture, syringe driver, verification of death, understanding of NEWS2 & SBAR or be willing to complete training to develop clinical competence.

Experience



Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support accurate assessment and treatment planning. Demonstrated ability to deliver resident-centred care with empathy and professionalism. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK, such as RGN/RNLD/RMN registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC). This role is ideal for motivated nurses committed to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Your pin must be without restrictions.

Note: This is a regional bank Registered Nurse role, shifts and hours are not guaranteed and will be on an ad-hoc basis. You will join our flexible bank team where shifts will be available on a first come, first served basis via our shift booking system.



Pay: 24.10 per hour
