Position Overview
We are looking for a high-performing
Regional Sales Manager
to lead and execute sales strategies within a defined territory. This role is critical in expanding our market footprint, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the healthcare staffing sector. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Management:
Own and drive business development within the assigned region, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
Team Leadership:
Manage and support a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) within the region, ensuring performance KPIs are met or exceeded.
Sales Strategy Execution:
Translate national sales strategies into regional action plans that deliver measurable outcomes and align with broader organizational goals.
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, care homes, and other healthcare providers to understand staffing needs and offer tailored solutions.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor regional trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activity to refine go-to-market strategies.
Revenue & Target Achievement:
Consistently meet or surpass revenue and client acquisition targets for the region.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Recruitment, Operations, and Marketing teams to align business development initiatives and ensure a seamless client experience.
Reporting & Insights:
Deliver regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, client feedback, and market developments to senior leadership.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure all sales activities adhere to healthcare staffing regulations and ethical business standards.
Qualifications & Skills
3 to 4 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership role--preferably in healthcare staffing, recruitment, or a related B2B services environment.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving regional business growth.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales approaches.
Deep understanding of regional healthcare market trends, client needs, and compliance regulations.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Willingness to travel regionally for client meetings and events, as needed.
