Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented and commercially astute
Regional Sales Manager
to spearhead growth across the Builders Merchants sector. This is a field-based role ideal for a natural relationship-builder whether in-person or remotely, who thrives on delivering tangible results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on Builders Merchants, DIY chains, and key distributors
- Manage existing accounts while identifying and converting new sales opportunities
- Build product awareness through demonstrations, training, and promotions
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution and stock availability
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to sharpen strategic decision-making
Candidate Profile:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in construction consumables or building supplies
- Deep understanding of Builders Merchant operations and decision-making dynamics
- Confident communicator with a consultative approach to sales
- Organised and self-motivated with strong planning and reporting skills
- Knowledge of silicones, sealants, foams, and adhesives is desirable but not essential
