Duties
You will be responsible for
managing existing relationships and developing new business opportunities
with plumbing merchants and installers, driving sales growth in your region. Your ability to
build trust, identify customer needs, and provide effective solutions
will be key to your success.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with
installers, merchants, and key industry stakeholders
.
Identify and pursue
new sales opportunities
to expand Navien's market presence.
Serve as a
trusted advisor
, understanding customer requirements and recommending tailored solutions.
Act as the
link between customers and internal teams
, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
Proactively address and resolve customer concerns to build
long-term trust
.
Generate new
leads, enquiries, and sales
, converting them into long-term business relationships.
Prepare
regular sales reports and forecasts
, tracking performance against key metrics.
Optimise the use of
promotions and discounts
to drive sales while maintaining profitability.
Requirements
Proven experience
as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role within the
plumbing and heating industry
.
Background in manufacturing sales
is highly desirable, with knowledge of
plumbing & heating industry distribution channels
.
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills
, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
Excellent
organisational and time management skills
.
Ability to
effectively manage and support a sales team
.
In-depth knowledge of
domestic gas and oil boilers
.
Self-motivated and proactive
, able to work independently to achieve targets.
Strong
commercial awareness
, understanding pricing strategies and industry agreements.
Ability to create and implement
sales initiatives and incentives
to improve regional performance.
Experience working with
plumbing merchants, installers, local authorities, and social housing organisations
is advantageous
