What we do at KatKin

For uncompromising cat parents who want the best, KatKin goes hardcore for cat health. We make the UK's most popular fresh cat food: 100% human-quality meat, gently cooked, and frozen for freshness.

Where the competition cuts corners, catfishes customers and puts profits over health, we put cat wellbeing first. No shortcuts. No secret recipes. We're cutting the fluff, thinking fresh and channelling hardcore love into industry-wide change. So cats live long and cat parents can love hard without compromise.

Having started as a two person team in 2019, founders Brett and Nikki have grown KatKin from a small startup to a leading pet-food industry disruptor, kick-starting a new category of healthier cat food in the UK - "Fresh". Our vet formulated, science backed recipes are now delivered to 60,000+ cats UK wide, and counting.

The Role

Our Direct Sales team attends the UKs most exciting events, festivals, and cat shows. We deliver brand activations to strike up conversations with cat parents, share our mission, and sign them up to kickstart their journey to better cat health.

As our Sales Team Leader in Manchester, you'll be right at the centre of building KatKin's very first regional Direct Sales team from the ground up. Building on the huge success of our London team (launched 2024), you will have open access to our proven sales playbook, alongside extensive, daily support from our London team - both in person and online.

This is your team to grow; as well as making your own sales, you'll take full ownership of nurturing your team of freelance Brand Ambassadors (often creatives and actors, or any charismatic cat enthusiast looking for a meaningful side hustle) - assisting, training and empowering them to reach their best.

You'll be tasked with boosting sales performance (customer acquisition and retention), managing set ups and breakdowns, solving problems as they happen, and making sure that every member of the team is well looked after and motivated.

This is a high impact role, with an opportunity to build a team around you.

6 month FTC, with expectation to progress to permanent contract on completion.
