Overview



We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and compassionate

Registered Manager

to lead the day-to-day operations of our care home, which specialises in high-quality care for older people, including those living with dementia. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strong clinical knowledge, effective management skills, and a genuine commitment to person-centred care.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience within a nursing or residential care environment and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care delivery, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities



The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational management of the home, ensuring safe, effective, and well-organised service delivery. This includes leading, supervising, and supporting care staff through training, guidance, and performance development. The role involves developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing individualised care plans, particularly for residents with complex needs such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

The Manager will ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements, including CQC standards. They will monitor and audit the quality of care provided, manage medication administration safely and accurately, and maintain robust clinical and governance documentation. Building positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies is essential, as is fostering a caring, respectful environment that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing. The role also includes leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and resident outcomes.

Skills and Experience



The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a senior care setting, such as a nursing home or assisted living service, with a strong background in dementia and Alzheimer's care. They will demonstrate effective leadership and management experience, including staff supervision, training, and performance management. A thorough understanding of medication management, care planning, and regulatory standards is essential.

Excellent organisational and communication skills are required, along with a compassionate and professional approach when engaging with residents, families, and colleagues. The successful applicant will be confident in managing multiple priorities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading teams to deliver outstanding care.

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
