Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional care to seniors. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring compliance with care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities



Supervise and lead the care team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, tailoring them to meet specific needs. Manage day-to-day operations of the home, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as relevant legislation regarding assisted living and senior care. Administer medication as required and oversee medication management processes within the home. Foster a positive environment that promotes resident wellbeing and encourages social interaction among residents. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Requirements



Proven experience in a supervisory role within an assisted living or senior care setting. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to manage individualised care effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team. Knowledge of medication administration practices and relevant health regulations. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to resident interactions. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of home care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
