Registered Care Home Manager - Bramley House
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Registered Care Manager to lead Bramley House, a well-established residential and dementia care home set within a beautifully converted Georgian residence and two acres of landscaped gardens.
Bramley House offers a genuine "home-from-home" environment, providing warm, personal care in a setting that feels like a real home rather than a purpose-built care facility. This role requires a manager who can protect that culture while running the home with strong operational and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Full operational management of the home
Financial performance, budget control and cost management
Occupancy levels, admissions and business development
Staff leadership, recruitment, rotas and performance management
Compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement
Resident, family and stakeholder communication
Training needs analysis and staff development
Out-of-hours management support
Essential Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Registered Care Manager
Demonstrable financial and business management experience
Strong understanding of care home budgets, occupancy and cost control
Excellent leadership and people-management skills
Resilience and confidence in handling complex situations
Thorough knowledge of CQC regulations and governance
Excellent communication and IT skills
A strong commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
