Are you an experienced leader with a deep commitment to creating safe, supportive environments for children? At Green Tree Children's Home, we're offering a rare opportunity for a skilled Registered Manager to take the lead in opening and running our brand-new 4-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in Erith, Kent.
This is more than a management role -- it's a chance to build a home from the ground up for children aged 8 to 18 who have experienced trauma, disrupted care, or neglect. Your leadership will lay the foundation for healing, growth, and long-term positive outcomes.

Your Role
As Registered Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, standards, and success of the home. You will:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home in line with Ofsted and statutory requirements
Inspire, develop, and lead a dedicated staff team focused on trauma-informed, person-centred care
Develop and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
Foster a therapeutic and nurturing environment for each child's emotional and developmental needs
Build trusted relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
Drive continuous improvement and lead the home toward outstanding inspection outcomes
About You
We're looking for a confident, compassionate leader who shares our commitment to delivering meaningful care. You will bring:
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work toward it)
Experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-regulated setting
A track record of leading successful inspections and implementing quality care
Strong safeguarding knowledge and a trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent approach
A values-driven mindset and unwavering focus on children's wellbeing
