Job Description

Bithoms Support Service provides homes for young people with a range of needs and associated social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties., The post holder will uphold the mission, values and goals of the organisation as expressed in the Vision and Mission Statement.

Key responsibilities of the role:

To be responsible for the management and operational delivery of the Home, and to oversee the implementation of standards as required by OFSTED

To lead and direct others to provide person-centred support to children and young people with EBDs and health needs to promote independence and personal fulfilment.

To be part of the 24-hour on-call rota for the service.

To Oversee operations and guiding the team to provide high-quality care and support.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the home meets its operational and business targets, as well as achieve the specified KPIs.

Collaborate with the RI to enhance the overall functioning of all the homes and ensure that they meet the high standards set out by the organisation.

To ensure that the staff support children and young people so that they achieve their objectives and outcomes and enable the children and young people to participate in a range of enjoyable activities.

To ensure that privacy, dignity and respect are an integral part of the support always offered to the children and young people.

To be constantly vigilant about the well-being of the children and young people, paying particular attention to health and potential safeguarding.

To facilitate regular meetings for the children and young people, keyworker times and other processes that allow everyone to be listened to and their needs acted upon.

To be responsible for ensuring that all children and young people have a comprehensive and detailed Person-Centred Plan that is regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.

To ensure that all children and young people are suitably included and consulted in anything and everything to do with their daily living etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
