We are now launching a Complex Homecare Division, caring for both Adults and Children. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join First Active 365 and help us continue our journey of success.

Registered Manager Profile:



As the Registered Manager, you will be a fundamental pillar in the overall smooth running of the operation and day to day business.

What the role involves:



As the Registered Manager you will be managing the day-to-day provision of the service and ensuring the highest quality of care is always delivered. Manage the safety and quality of the business. Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures. Undertake training and development to keep up to date with the law, best practice and changes in company policy. Apply this knowledge to day-to-day management and delivery of care. Understand and monitor health and safety in the workplace and in the field. Act as lead for infection prevention and control Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the business. Implement quality management and improvement systems. Effectively manage complaints and incidents. Carry out investigations relating to the quality of the service and use findings to make improvements. Be prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the service. Identify ongoing training needs and ensure staff are up to date with current best practice. Ensure there are enough suitably qualified staff allocated appropriately to always meet service needs. Implement company policy and procedures in relation to managing absence, disciplinary, capability and grievance matters. Provide information, guidance and ongoing supervision to enable staff to effectively and safely carry out their roles. Carry out appraisals and monitoring of staff performance. Ensure all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively, such as covering calls either directly or indirectly when care workers are sick or absent. Ensure all Safeguarding issues are reported immediately to the local Safeguarding Team and CQC. Attend all safeguarding strategy meetings.

Clinical Duties:



Create rapport with the service user/next of kin, carry out assessments within the service user's property. Ensure that all care plans are written in a person-centred way, are accurate and meet CQC regulations. Ensure that all care is delivered against CQC regulations as well as following internal policies and procedures. Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals you come into contact within care packages. Knowledge of clinical governance and risk management. Manage the daily clinical operations and ensure high quality patient care is delivered. Manage and monitor the quality of care and take appropriate action to address any concerns. Ensure all necessary documentation and records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner. Identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Manage and allocate resources efficiently and effectively.

What you'll need:



Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role in a care setting An NMC registered Nurse with 1 year's broad post-registration experience. Valid UK Driving License & access to own vehicle (willing to travel to client assessments) Knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and management experience. Exceptional Organisational skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills. Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
