We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient advocacy.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.
Requirements
Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is an advantage.
A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Compassionate and empathetic , with ability to provide emotional support to patients.
Fully trained and competent in IV infusion and Venesection ( phlebotomy) procedures, with adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Fully Trained in aseptic technique , cannulation and blood sampling procedures.
Experienced in managing vascular access and monitoring infusion therapy.
