Position: Registered Home Manager

Location: Bewdley, Worcestershire

Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Salary: 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead our care home team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As the Home Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a supportive environment for both staff and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the care home team, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Oversee care planning and delivery, utilizing EMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record) systems for accurate and efficient medication management and resident care plans. Conduct regular audits using PCS (Person-Centred Software) to maintain high standards of care and compliance. Ensure the home meets all CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulations and achieves outstanding ratings. Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with health and social care best practices. Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders. Manage budgets, resources, and rotas to optimize operational efficiency.
Essential Requirements:

Registered with the CQC as a Home Manager. Hold an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification). Proven experience in a similar role within a care home setting. Trained and proficient in EMAR for care planning. Familiarity with PCS software for auditing and reporting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to start as soon as possible. Right to work in the UK and satisfactory DBS check.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in managing care homes for elderly or specialist care needs. Knowledge of current legislation and trends in health and social care. Commitment to continuous professional development.
