Registered Manager
to lead our specialist residential service,

Homelands
in Aldington, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of The New Bungalow and Homelands. You'll lead, support, and develop your team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that empowers residents to achieve independence, dignity, and personal goals. You'll manage staff, budgets, compliance, and resources while ensuring outstanding standards that meet Care Quality Commissions (CQC) requirements.
This is a full-time role with participation in our on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team, ensuring effective supervision, appraisals, and training.
Oversee recruitment, rotas, and staffing levels to maintain safe, person-centred support.
Assess, plan, and review care packages tailored to residents' individual needs.
Manage the service budget and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure safe storage and administration of medication, and maintain compliance with all CQC and regulatory standards.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
Take overall responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management within the home.
Drive continuous improvement, ensuring the service is safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years' experience at Assistant Manager or Team Leader level within social care.
Has a strong understanding of CQC standards and experience delivering high-quality care.
Holds or is working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care.
Has excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Is confidence in managing budgets, rotas, and complex care services.
Is flexible, resilient, and committed to supporting both staff and residents to thrive.
Holds a valid driving licence.

High Needs Allowance - 2,087 (pro-rata)

Weekend Enhancement - 0.70 per hour
