Summary
We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead our team at Acorn House, a small residential home regiestered with the Care Quality Commission for 6 people with a learning disability. This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care service.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to maintain operational efficiency.
Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
Conduct regular assessments of client needs and service effectiveness.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within the care sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
In-depth knowledge of assisted living practices and regulations.
Experience in medication administration is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A relevant qualification in health or social care is preferred.
