Community Independent Living provide Supported Living and Complex Residential services for adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism and Complex needs. We pride ourselves on our partnership working with the people we support, their families and the local authority to ensure we deliver a quality service.

We are currently recruiting for a CQC Registered Manager to join the team to support our residential service based in Wirral.

Participation in the Out of Hours (On-call) will be required on a rotational basis.

What your day will consist of:

Service management:

Overseas the day-to-day management of the service to ensure the highest standards of care are provided.

CQC Registration:

You will hold CQC registrations for the service and ensure the service is compliant with CQC guidelines.

Team Management:

Oversee the management of the staffing team. Ensure all supervisions, appraisal's, competencies, spot checks, training are up to date. Ensure their is a positive working environment for staff and residents.

Record keeping and reporting:

Maintain accurate records, update care plans, risk assessments, keep up to date with trackers, ensure compliance is up to date, conduct audits, produce reports and investigate complaints or concerns from residents/families and/or employees.

Operational compliance:

Stay updated on operational issues and methods. Ensure compliance with health and safety, emergency regulations and operational policies.

Operational review:

Regularly review service operations to ensure all residents needs are met and policies and procedures are communicated and implemented effectively.

Quality service management:

Manage a robust quality service that promotes high standards and positive outcomes for residents and employees

Emergency duties:

Provide emergency hands on care, undertake oncall duties, attend events as required and offer emergency telephone assistance to employees as and when needed.

Additional duties:

Perform other duties as requested to support the services success

The person we are looking for will have:

Experience in care management:

Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a Learning Disability/Complex Care setting is essential

Qualifications:

NVQ/QCF level 5 in health and social care is required

Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to effectively lead, delegate and mentor employees

Team management:

experience of managing a large staffing team

Organisational skills:

Strong organisational abilities with experience in producing rotas and managing multiple responsibilities

Flexibility:

ability to work flexibly, including extended hours as needed and provide hands on care during staff shortages

Reliability:

Reliable and punctual with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care

Driving license:

A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is required

Background checks:

Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS disclosure and reference checks

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
