Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Registered Manager.
Are you an experienced Registered Manger or a Deputy Manager with a background in residential childcare, looking to take your next step in your career?
Responsibilities
To manage the daily running of the home, in line with company policy and regulatory requirements. Supervising and providing guidance, support, direction and leadership to staff.
To model best practice approaches during challenging behaviours, ensuring there is coherent and consistent high levels of care.
To register as a Manager with Ofsted and to work directly with, and as part of the senior management team for the best interest of the children, young people, staff and the company.
Must have the following:
A strong working knowledge of emotional and behavioural disorder and behaviour that challenges.
Experience on providing supervisions, mentoring and upskilling staff, within a residential childcare setting.
Recent experience working within the residential section at registered manager level.
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) as a minimum.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification), or willingness to work towards completing this.
Full UK manual driving licence.

Duties
Manage the day-to-day operations of the children's care facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for each child, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
Supervise and support staff members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional development and high standards of care.
Ensure effective medication administration practices are followed, maintaining accurate records for each resident.
Provide guidance on best practices in dementia and Alzheimer's care, ensuring staff are trained and equipped to support residents effectively.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
Conduct regular assessments of care quality and implement improvements as necessary to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
Background in nursing or senior care with specific experience in dementia and Alzheimer's care preferred.
Strong management skills with previous supervisory experience in a care home environment.
Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on team building and staff development.
Competence in medication administration protocols and record keeping.
