looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a new
2-bedded children's home
? We are seeking a passionate professional with a
proven track record with Ofsted
to help shape a nurturing, safe, and high-quality care environment for vulnerable children.
About the Role:
As the
Registered Manager
, you will play a crucial role in establishing and managing a new children's home, ensuring compliance with
Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards
. You will lead a dedicated team, implement best practices, and strive for
Outstanding
Ofsted ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
? Register with Ofsted as the
Registered Manager
and ensure full regulatory compliance.
? Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team.
? Create a
therapeutic, child-centred
environment to help children
thrive and develop
.
? Ensure the home operates efficiently, safely, and in line with all
Ofsted and safeguarding standards
.
? Oversee
care plans, risk assessments
, and behaviour management strategies.
? Build strong relationships with
external agencies, social workers, and families
.
? Monitor and improve the
home's performance, outcomes, and inspections
.
Requirements:
?
Minimum of two years' experience
as a Registered Manager in a children's home.
?
Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
? Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
? Strong understanding of
Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's legislation
.
? Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
? Passionate about making a positive difference in young lives.
