Willow Tree Kids Care is a residential home provider dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with various needs.

We are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager for New Malden a 3 bed children's home for Young people aged 8 - 17yrs.

Role Description:



As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the residential home, and providing safe and nurturing care, ensuring that we maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership and support to the staff team.

Regular and ongoing support and development is provided by our Responsible Individual.

Main responsibilities and duties:



Responsibility for the management of safeguarding children and young people, risk and service governance Ensure that children and have access to services which meet their health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs and wellbeing Monitor outcomes and progress for children in accordance with their care plans Management supervision, reviewing and monitoring standards, and practice development Reviewing care and service plans to ensure care is being delivered effectively Working with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners

Qualifications and Experience:



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willing to work towards) Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)

What will I be doing as a Registered Manager?



Supporting the directors and Responsible Individual to achieve registration with OFSTED (Application already in progression). Manage the Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose for the home. Achieve a quality service; aiming to achieve a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating. Managing and supporting the homes staff team, providing supervision on a regular basis, assessing staff performance, and providing some training. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Safeguarding Legislation and Procedures the Children Act, other relevant legislation and guidance and company policies and procedures. To ensure recommendations or requirements from inspection reports and Regulation 44 reports are addressed and resolved within designated timescales. Provide written reports for reviews, case conferences and other meetings requested by Senior Staff. Ensure that relevant actions identified at such meetings are implemented accordingly and in timely manner.

Remuneration:



3 bed EBD home Salary 50-60k basic Employee Assistance Programme Birthday off Free meals whilst on shift, encouraging everyone to eat together as you would at home and encourage social interaction

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year

Experience:

Registered Care Home: 2 years (preferred) Children's Care Home Management: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
