About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Registered Manager
to oversee the day-to-day operations of our children's home based in Walsall. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a passionate team and make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home provides a high standard of care, meets all regulatory requirements, and supports the emotional, social, and educational development of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of care professionals, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
Ensure the home meets Ofsted regulations and quality standards
Develop care plans tailored to each child's individual needs
Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment
Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and professionals
Oversee budgets, staffing, and reporting requirements
Lead on recruitment, training, and staff development
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a managerial role within a children's residential setting
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to build trusting relationships with children, staff, and stakeholders
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
