48k - 55k per annum

Full time 9-5 plus additional pat rotational on call

About the role



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to take overall responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day operations of our children's residential home. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care that actively promotes and upholds the rights of young people, treating them as individuals and supporting their development in line with the organisation's values and policies

As the Registered Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality care in line with legislative and regulatory standards, including Ofsted SCCIF, safeguarding protocols, and the organisation's policies. You will promote equality, inclusion, and anti-discriminatory practice in all aspects of service delivery.


You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational, human resource, and financial management of the home, including oversight of admissions, staffing, health and safety, record-keeping, and reporting. This includes contributing to service improvement, leading staff development, and maintaining compliance with mandatory training and professional standards.


You will represent the organisation professionally in external forums and play a key role in decision-making, innovation, and strategic planning. The role includes participation in on-call duties and occasionally covering shifts if required.


Key Responsibilities:



Ensure compliance with care regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety standards. Maintain accurate records, reporting systems, and management information. Lead, supervise, and support a team of care staff, ensuring all are trained and appraised. Manage rotas, budgets, staff recruitment, and disciplinary processes. Oversee all admissions and discharges to the home. Represent the home with external agencies and professionals. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery.
