The Role
As
Registered Manager
for our 2-bed children's home, you will lead from the front; creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment for the children in your care. You'll ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards, while building and inspiring a high-performing staff team. This is a rare opportunity to shape a home from the ground up and make a lasting difference.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of the home to the highest standards.
Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted SCCIF framework.
Champion safeguarding and put the voice of the child at the centre of all decisions.
Recruit, develop, and retain a motivated and skilled staff team.
Develop individual care plans and ensure they are implemented effectively.
Monitor quality, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with families, social workers, and partner agencies.
Prepare for and lead successful Ofsted inspections.
About You
We're looking for a caring, committed, and highly skilled leader. You will have:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
(or willingness to work towards it).
A minimum of
2 years' experience
in a management role within a children's residential setting.
A proven track record of delivering 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcomes with Ofsted.
Excellent understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements.

Strong organisational and communication skills.
