Registered Manager / Family Assessment

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care to our young people.

As the Registered Manager, you will be a Registered Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding vulnerable families responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing care plans, and leading a team of professionals in delivering exceptional care.

Duties

Manage the daily operations of the residential service, providing strong leadership to staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained. Overseeing comprehensive, evidence-based family assessments and leading all safeguarding practices within the centre. Ensuring the centre operates in line withe statement of purpose, preparing Ofsted inspections and maintaining records. Building effective relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, courts, and health services, and representing the centre where required Lead training initiatives for staff to enhance their skills in home care practices and care.

Experience

Proven experience in a leadership role for at least 1 year and you must hold a current Social Worker qualification Minimum 2 years experience working with vulnerable families or children in a residential or assessment setting. In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, child protection procedures and risk management, Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Knowledge of Ofsted's regulatory framework and National Minimum Standards for Residential Family Centres. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Clear DBS and right to work in the UK
