We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home specialising in senior care, assisted living, and dementia care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in a safe, respectful, and person-centred manner. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the care home team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
Oversee the development and implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult social care and health & safety standards.
Administer medication in accordance with legal requirements and organisational protocols.
Monitor the quality of care provided through regular audits, resident feedback, and staff performance reviews.
Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing for residents.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate effective care provision.
Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resource allocation efficiently to meet organisational objectives.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and staff development through training programmes and leadership activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in senior management within assisted living or nursing home settings.
Strong background in nursing or healthcare management with relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care).
Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, medication administration, and regulatory compliance standards.
Demonstrable supervising experience with the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
