ABS AGENCY LTD is seeking an experienced and qualified
Registered Manager
to oversee daily operations of its care and staffing services. The Manager will ensure that our domiciliary care and sector-specific staffing services meet CQC standards, promote person-centered care, and support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all services comply with
CQC regulations
, company policies, and care sector best practices.
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise care coordinators, support staff, and administrative teams. Monitor performance, deliver training, and foster a positive working environment.
Care Quality Oversight
Develop and maintain robust care plans and risk assessments. Oversee quality assurance audits and resolve service delivery issues.
Staff Recruitment & Development
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of care staff. Encourage continued professional development (CPD) and ensure all training is up to date.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with service users, families, commissioners, and local authorities. Conduct client reviews and address concerns effectively.
Scheduling & Rostering
Work with coordinators to maintain accurate staff rosters and ensure adequate coverage across all service areas.
Business Development
Contribute to growth strategies, manage budgets, and identify new contract opportunities.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within health and social care.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and domiciliary care practices.
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Mandatory for registration with CQC as a Registered Manager*. Right to work in the UK and clear enhanced DBS check.
Competency in IT and care management software.
