About Eden Court Care Home

Eden Court Care Home is a modern, purpose-built 100-bed facility in the heart of Halifax. Currently operating two units (70 beds), we're preparing to launch our third 30-bed specialist unit, completing our vision as a comprehensive care provider. Our services include:

About the Registered Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking

Registered Manager

to lead the team at Eden Court and take the lead in launching our new unit focused on M

ental health and EMI nursing

.

You will be fully supported by a

Home Manager and a Unit Manager

, both responsible for day-to-day operations across the current units. In addition, you will receive structured

mentorship from the Regional Manager

, ensuring a collaborative and supported leadership environment.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to lead a growing service, shape clinical delivery, and foster an outstanding care culture.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight across all 100 beds, including being in charge of the EMI Nursing/mental health unit. Ensure full

CQC compliance

, safeguarding best practices, and high clinical standards. Lead and develop staff teams with the support of the

Home Manager

and

Unit Manager

. Manage budgets, staffing, recruitment, and performance in line with operational and quality KPIs. Oversee

care planning, admissions

, and

risk assessments

for residents with complex physical and behavioural health needs. Act as the

on-call lead

for urgent situations, ensuring safe, decisive leadership. Engage with stakeholders including the

CQC, NHS/ICBs

, and local authorities, to support regulatory and service development goals.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

At least 5 years' experience as a

Registered Manager

or equivalent in a

CQC-regulated care/nursing home

.

NVQ Level 5

in Health & Social Care Leadership (or equivalent). Experience in

dementia care, mental health

, and

challenging behaviour management

. Demonstrated success in team leadership, service development, and improving

CQC outcomes

. Strong knowledge of relevant care legislation, safeguarding, and commissioning practices. Comfortable overseeing service expansion and new unit mobilisation.

Desirable:

Experience in EMI nursing, brain injury or neurorehabilitation care. Background in opening new services or specialist care units.
