This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager, with a desire to lead and motivate staff within a professional and successful organisation. Horizon Healthcare Homes provides person focused support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Operations, will be registered with the CQC and be accountable for the day to day management and future success of the home.

Registered Manager Responsibilities

As the Registered Manager of Hampton House, a 12 bed home, your duties will include:

Providing guidance and support to all staff, both informally and formally via the supervision and appraisal systems Responsibility for the day to day organisation and effective running of the home Developing and maintaining fantastic relationships with the individuals we support, staff, outside agencies and within the local community Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, dignity and respect of all the individuals that we support Behaving proactively and being responsive to individual needs of the people that we support and the service as a whole Being effective in all aspects of the way we work and hold the values that Horizon Healthcare Homes prides itself upon Work in a caring and empathetic way Leading the team with the common goal and interests of the individuals we support at the forefront of everything we do Provide a warm and homely environment for the individuals we support To take overall responsibility of the home and provide out of hours on call cover as part of a rota To ensure that the individuals we support are cared for in accordance with the ethos, policies and practices of Horizon Healthcare Homes Ltd and within the regulatory standards set out within the Care Standards Act and other relevant legislation and codes of practice.

Registered Manager Experience

To be successful in the Registered Manager role, you will have experience of delivering support to a high standard within a social care setting and have strong experience of leading individuals and teams within an adult residential care setting. You will have the necessary knowledge and experience of the regulatory standards and of the inspection process carried out by the Care Quality Commission.

Horizon Healthcare Homes is looking for an individual with the right values and aptitude to lead from the front and provide excellent management to an established team of staff. We are looking for someone who is caring and empathetic, an excellent communicator, and is passionate about achieving the very best for people with learning disabilities in a homely setting. The successful candidate will hold or be willing to complete the Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management.
