As we open a brand-new residential children's home in Cheddleton, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead this exciting new venture. You will have full autonomy and a genuine opportunity to shape the home from day one.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations and overall management of the home. You will ensure that the home meets all regulatory standards and delivers exceptional care tailored to the individual needs of each child. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of growth, development, and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the launch and ongoing operations of a new children's home supporting individuals with learning disabilities Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and company policies Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children and staff Lead, support, and develop a team of residential care workers Engage with external professionals and families to support the development of care plans and opportunities for young people Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records Promote a child-centred approach and uphold the company's core values and ethos

Requirements:



Minimum of 2 years' experience working in residential childcare within the last 5 years (in an Ofsted-registered service) At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in social care NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) - required*
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare - required*
Full UK Driving Licence - required*
Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and care standards A compassionate, committed, and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs
