Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager with LD or EBD experience with the commitment to ensuring a high standard of care for children and young people with the chance to open a brand new home in a growing organisation.

Main Purpose of the Job:



To work alongside the current Managers in the hub to register a new service To assist the RI in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose. To support and manage the staff to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people. To conduct supervisions with the staff team To be part of the on call rota To undertake direct work with Children and young people as appropriate. To be the responsible person in managing child protection concerns and complaints. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people To ensure that resources are allocated appropriately and financial records are accurately maintained

Person Specification:



A good standard of literacy and numeracy Level 5 Leadership & Management Residential Experience Team Building and Supervision Skills Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Understanding the needs of young people who have experienced trauma including managing challenging behaviours Understanding and knowledge of The Children's Regulations 2015 and Ofsted. Good organisational skills

As we work with vulnerable young people you will need to complete a job application form with a self-disclosure before we can invite you to an interview. Requirements for DBS reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations, and safer recruitment best practice.



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
