We're looking for an experienced and emotionally intelligent
Registered Manager
to lead a well-established
3-bed children's home
supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD).
This is a therapeutic, values-led service where structure, empathy, and consistency are at the heart of daily practice. You'll have the autonomy to lead your team, shape the culture, and maintain the high standards expected in a regulated, Ofsted-registered home.
With a robust support system--including an in-house therapy team, HR, and operations--you'll have the tools and backing to focus on what matters: quality care, meaningful leadership, and long-term outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading the day-to-day running of a
3-bed EBD children's home
in line with Ofsted and organisational standards
Managing and developing a dedicated care team, promoting consistency and best practice
Driving positive outcomes through effective safeguarding, planning, and leadership
Overseeing all regulatory requirements, audits, and inspections
Liaising with professionals, families, and agencies to maintain joined-up working
Creating a positive and therapeutic environment where both staff and young people can thrive
Monday to Friday hours (9am-5pm) with shared on-call responsibilities
What You'll Need
NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
(or be willing to complete this within two years)
At least 2 years' leadership experience within a residential children's home
Deep understanding of EBD, safeguarding procedures, and therapeutic practice
A confident, emotionally resilient approach to leadership and decision-making
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
