We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of a brand new supported living facility for young people transitioning out of local authority care.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supporting young people aged 16 to 25 years and assisted living.
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents while managing a team of skilled professionals.
Your leadership will be crucial in developing care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the care facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of the young people you are supporting.
Supervise and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance and support as necessary.
Ensure proper medication administration protocols are followed by all staff members.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust support plans accordingly.
Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being and dignity.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services.
Maintain accurate records of resident care, incidents, and staff performance in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within an assisted living and young people is essential.
Strong knowledge of care practices and the ability to implement effective care strategies.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing support plans and documentation.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
