We're looking for an exceptional
Registered Manager
to lead a
purpose-built solo children's home
set in the peaceful countryside of Cambridgeshire. More than a job, this is a chance to create a sanctuary--one child, one team, one mission.

As Registered Manager, you'll take the lead in shaping a home where care is not only trauma-informed but also heart-led. You'll be empowered to build a culture of compassion, high standards, and unwavering support--for the child and the team beside you.
Your Role: Leading with Heart and Purpose
Be present, be real
- Guide and support a high-quality care team with empathy, clarity, and consistency
Elevate the child's voice
- Be their fiercest advocate and most stable presence
Build a team that shows up, fully
- Develop staff who see their role as parenting with love, safety, and boundaries
Champion trauma-informed care
- Lead with curiosity and emotional insight to understand complex behaviour
Create a true home
- A safe, warm, and nurturing environment that exceeds care standards and feels like family
Live alongside the child
- Be hands-on in daily routines, appointments, and memory-making moments
Strengthen partnerships
- Collaborate with local authorities, CAMHS, schools, and families to create a wraparound network of support
Hold steady in the storm
- Provide grounded leadership in times of crisis, using Positive Behaviour Support and emotional resilience
Lead toward excellence
- Prepare the home for success in inspections and Regulation 44 visits

What You Bring
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
2+ years in a senior role within a children's residential setting
Proven ability to support children with complex emotional and behavioural needs
Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice (experience in solo/specialist homes is a plus)
Strong safeguarding, leadership, and team-building expertise
Resilient, reflective, and warm-hearted approach
Full UK driving licence
